Pollina better on health care
Letter to the Editor:
I was relieved to hear that Anthony Pollina is going to remain in the race for governor. Health care continues to be the issue of overwhelming importance, and Pollina recognizes that. It drives our school budgets, and it drives our town budgets. In the 2004 session, the governor and the Democratic leadership compromised on Catamount. It’s unsustainable, and it’s only another product for an insurance company. It’s a Band-Aid.
At the beginning of the 2007 session the Democratic leadership took health care off the table. I want a governor who has pledged to work nonstop on the issue of health care. I’ll vote for Pollina.
