Democrats should back Pollina
Letter to the Editor:
The Democratic Party needs to stay out of the governor’s race and endorse Anthony Pollina for governor. It is our best chance at beating Jim Douglas. Gaye Symington should run for lieutenant governor and challenge Dubie. Anthony Pollina is a can-do candidate who works hard to protect the middle class, create universal health care, more and better paying jobs, reduce college costs and fund social service programs to the maximum level possible. If we want a governor who is in touch with our issues, concerns and priorities, Anthony Pollina is the man to lead the state of Vermont. It’s time to move Vermont in a new direction.
